A couple of weeks ago, one of my readers asked me if there are any jobs that pay $15 an hour with little or no experience. 

I started digging to find such jobs.

What did I find?

There are a good number of work-from-home-jobs that pay that much in different fields, but few companies don’t ask for too much experience.

I have listed some flexible side jobs that pay $15 an hour. Please check the websites if they are hiring currently.

Being the most prevalent healthcare benefits company, CVS Health offers nursing and customer service jobs. It offers work-from-home, part-time, full-time, and hybrid roles. You can go to its careers page to check for the latest job openings.

The pay depends on the position and is around $16 to $25 per hour.

#2. Proofread Anywhere

Proofreading is the best way to earn a good income while working from home. Proofreading jobs pay more than $15, depending on the experience, but you can earn more as a freelance proofreader. Telus International hires for roles like search engine evaluator, internet assessor, media search analyst, etc. The job involves filtering and rating the search engine results according to the given guidelines. Telus offers roles in many countries, so check the site for jobs in your region.

The pay ranges from $15 to $20, depending on the job.

#4. Pleio

As a Pleio goodstart mentor, you will be communicating with patients about the medicines they take and reminding them to take those medicines on time. You can sign up online with all your credentials, and once the interview and criminal check are done, you are ready to start teaching.

Humana is a trusted company in healthcare that regularly hires online customer service specialists. You will be handling customer queries via phone, chat, or email. This role requires you to have some experience in customer care.

The pay is around $15 to $18 per hour.

#11. LanguageLine Solutions

If you are bilingual, then working with LanguageLine Solutions as an interpreter is a great choice. You will be working on inbound calls.

Scribie employs new and experienced transcribers in the general transcription field. The company employs people in many countries globally. You don’t need prior experience to apply. After applying, you will be on a wait list, and then you will be invited to create an account and give your test.

Education First is a US-based online teaching company that has been successfully recruiting English teachers. It hires teachers from the US and the UK. The company pays extra when you teach during peak hours and offers bonus rewards for teaching more classes.

#14. VIPKID

If you have a native English accent and any formal or informal teaching experience, then you can apply to be an online tutor with VIPKid. You mainly teach conversational English to Chinese kids. You need to have a four-year degree in any subject to apply.

Rev hires freelance transcribers, captioners, and translators, and currently it has openings on its website. You have to take a test after applying. Rev hires worldwide and works entirely online.

Emoderation is another online moderation company that hires work-at-home moderators to manage social media profiles. You don’t need to have any experience, but it helps to be knowledgeable about social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. You will also be moderating the forums. The positions are open worldwide.

#17. Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix hires online stylists to help its clients choose an outfit. Your job as a stylist for this company will include choosing around five pieces of clothing and sending them to the clients. If the customers like the outfit, they keep it or return it to the company.

From what I can gather, the hourly pay for this is around $10–$12 per hour.

Chegg is a tutoring company that hires online tutors. You can teach many subjects like astrophysics, biology, zoology, calculus, and much more. This position does require some experience in the subject you are teaching.

The pay starts at $20 per hour and will be deposited in your account every week.
